It was a fantastic day at trifest at riverside park. We had rope making, sponge throwing, necker designing as well as 3D prints to sell. It was lovely to meet to so many different people as well as see all the amazing businesses around Bitterne Park.

Thanks so much to the local councillors for stepping up to be sponged. Cllr Phil Webb - Bitterne Park

Over the bank holiday the group was camping at Braggers Wood on group camp with over 70 young people joining us over the weekend.
Saturday was filled with a Mini Olympics with all the sections competing in different events, with shooting, sailing, silly egg and spoon and much much more. We finished with a campfire and wide games.
Sunday was spent on the beach for the Beavers and Cubs with a sandcastle completion whilst the scouts spent their day learning bushcraft skills at the campsite. This was followed by bouldering and whittling in the evening.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made such a great weekend possible! We’re really proud of all young people who were so well behaved and a credit to the group.

The friday scouts were learning all about first aid and transporting a casualty whilst in the wilderness. They had great fun experimenting with lots of different equipment and learning new skills.

It has been an exciting week for our beavers and squirrels! As part of their digital maker badge they’ve been to the Apple Store, using iPads to make their own emojis!
Thank you to Southampton Apple Store for letting us join.

It has great to welcome all of the young people back after Easter! The Cubs and Scouts have raced each other in homemade go-karts, and the Beavers and squirrels have been learning all about money doing their money skills badge.
