Beware everyone, had a visit in Fletchwood Lane yesterday from some claiming to be from HMRC collecting arrears. He had no ID and the letter was printed on very poor quality paper, printed badly with some subtle errors. He was a black man, aged late 30’s/40’s wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans. We caught his image on our camera and all details passed on to the relevant agencies. Just a warning for everyone.

Visitors in Fletchwood Lane around midnight last night, stole items from one property and went through another’s sheds. Be careful and lock everything up.

Vandalism to Bus Shelter along Lyndhurst Road

The Bus Shelter by the car wash along Lyndhurst Road has been vandalised with the glass smashed.

Our contractor made the shelter safe yesterday and cleared up the glass he could safely get (without going into the busy road), but there are still small glass pieces in the road along the kerb.

NFDC know about this and the road sweeper will get as much as they can. Unfortunately, I don't have a date when this will happen.

The shelter is scheduled to be repaired mid-August.

MONDAY 12th MAY
Stallions will be released on the New Forest for a six-week period this summer.
A total of 21 have been chosen and will be turned out to breed with the free-roaming mares from Monday, 12 May. For more information click the link ☺️
