A fantastic morning Fat Bobs at The Blue Lias hosted by Shelly Clarke

We were greeted with made to order barista drinks, followed by a guided tour of the 22acre premises, cafe, pub, outdoor seating by the canal, campsite, Carboot, fishing lake and the incredible themed function room which is rotated on a regular basis to bring you a selection of cars from around the world!

In the short time Shelly and Husband took over the Blue Lias it’s incredible in what they’ve achieved and offer to their community.

Fat Bobs cafe by morning with a selection of drinks, cakes and breakfast and into the afternoon/evening where the Blue lias pub opens.

It’s a credit to Shelly and her staff (which are like a family) and this shines through in what they offer with a fantastic atmosphere for all ages!

That was a real treat!

A huge thanks to Miranda Bishop - Reiki Practitioner & Medium for her interactive talk today Southam Business Community CIC

Miranda turned up raring to go with an abundance of rocks, interactive activities to help ground ourselves, knowledgable information on all things rocks, her services as a medium, her groups she co-hosts and even treated a guest to a sample of reiki (whilst talking us through the whole process)

This women is an absolute gem!

😞 Today we had the lowest turnout since we started the CIC and it felt really disheartening for Miranda to put in all her time and effort with 4 (yes 4).

Especially when her post was well received and engaged with 🤔

As always we ran as normal and supported her as we do with anyone. Anyone that offers a talk, puts time, effort and even overcome nerves to do what they do, so a huge push of support would be massively helpful (fellow business owners you know what to do ❤️)

29th April we have the lovely Miranda joining us for an interactive talk on her business journey and what she offers.

I don’t think there’s many people that don’t know Miranda and all the great things she does for Southam.

A friendly and familiar face as an advocate and trader at Southam First indoor monthly market, amongst many other great things.

Here’s what Miranda has to say:

I took my Reiki level 1 and 2 back in 2002, and started practicing it as a full time job in 2014. I have been selling crystals since 2021 as a lockdown project, and have spent the last few years learning all about them, and how they correlate with Reiki and our energy. As part of being a founding member of Southam Spiritualist over a decade ago, I have been teaching Meditation and Spiritual Development for the last couple of years.

We look forward to her joining us 🙏
