๐Ÿ’š World Mental Health Day | 10 October ๐Ÿ’š

Our team wore green to show our support for World Mental Health Day and help raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing ๐Ÿ’š

Mental health affects us all and itโ€™s so important that we continue to check in with one another, break down stigma and remind people that they are never alone. Sometimes, a simple conversation, a listening ear or a little kindness can make a bigger difference than we realise ๐Ÿ’š

Weโ€™re also proud to be collecting donations for One 4 All at The Salvation Army, supporting the fantastic work they do within our community ๐Ÿ’š

Letโ€™s keep the conversation going, look out for one another and remember that itโ€™s okay not to be okay ๐Ÿ™Œ

Public Health Conference | 7 October 2026

A big thank you to our Commissioners, Julie and Paula, for the opportunity to be part of this important event.

Our Outreach & Health Inequalities Team delivered a presentation showcasing their work, sharing real life case studies and highlighting the support they have been able to put in place to make a difference in peopleโ€™s lives.

It was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the teamโ€™s work and demonstrate the positive impact of providing tailored support to those who need it most ๐Ÿฉต

๐Ÿ’š HEALTH INEQUALITIES โ€“
OUR COMMUNITY DROP-IN SESSIONS ๐Ÿ’š

Our new Health Inequalities Community Drop-In Timetable is here! ๐ŸŒฟ

But what do we mean by Health Inequalities?

Health inequalities are the unfair and avoidable differences in health and wellbeing between different groups of people.

These differences can be influenced by things such as:

๐Ÿ“ Where people live
๐Ÿ’ท Income and financial circumstances
๐Ÿง  Mental health
๐Ÿ‘ฅ Ethnicity
๐Ÿง“ Age or disability
๐Ÿฅ Access to healthcare and support

Our Health Inequalities sessions aim to help people access support, information, connection and opportunities that can support their health and wellbeing.

Whether you need practical support, somewhere to connect with others, information about your health, or simply a welcoming place to talk, there are a range of community drop-ins available throughout the week.

๐Ÿ“ Check our timetable below for times, locations and full details.

You donโ€™t have to wait until things become difficult to ask for support. Sometimes connecting with the right person, service or community space can be the first step towards improving your wellbeing.

๐ŸŒฟ Support | Connection | Information | Wellbeing ๐ŸŒฟ
