❤️🎗️ A LITTLE UPDATE… AND SOME RAFFLE NEWS! 🎗️❤️
I realise it’s been a little quiet on here recently, and I know that earlier in the year I hinted that there might even be another Don’t Stop Believing Ball in 2026…
Sadly, life had other plans. 💔
Many of you will already know that in April, we lost our beautiful Golden Retriever Charlie and in May, my husband Robert died very suddenly and unexpectedly.
To say that life has been turned upside down would be an understatement. Bob was not only my husband, he was my best friend, Joseph’s dad and, for more than 12 years, my partner in everything we have done to raise funds in Joseph’s memory.
After losing Joseph in 2014, neither of us could ever have imagined where our fundraising journey would take us, or the incredible amount of love and support we would receive along the way.
Now I find myself having to navigate that journey without Bob beside me. 💔 Amongst all the sadness and heartache, I take some comfort from believing that Bob has been reunited with our beautiful boys. ❤️
So, although there won’t be a Ball this year, planning for this year's raffle had already started way back in January. The 2026 Don't Stop Believing Raffle WILL go ahead and be drawn on Saturday 5th December! 🥳🎟️
It feels incredibly important to me to keep going with something that Bob and I started together in Joseph's memory, to continue to raise money for Childhood Cancer Research at Newcastle University and, hopefully, help towards a future where other families don’t have to experience the heartbreak that ours has.
Some of our wonderful supporters and businesses have already stepped forward with INCREDIBLE prizes for this year’s raffle!! I’ll be revealing those over the coming months as our prize list starts to grow…... I have a feeling we might just have another fantastic raffle on our hands! 😉❤️
For now, I have one little favour to ask…
Please make sure you’re following the page, invite your friends and family to join us, and share our posts whenever you can. The more people we can reach, the more tickets we can sell and, most importantly, the more we can raise for this incredibly important research. 🎗️

This next chapter isn’t one I ever expected to be doing without Bob… but I know he would want me to keep going. So, that’s exactly what I’m going to do. ❤️
