Tyneside Outdoors Youth Workers, Abbey and Gerard, are taking a couple of our donated bikes for a spin, up a couple of little hills, near that there place called Wooler in Northumberland.
The ride, 60km/37.5 miles, aims to raise funds for TO's youth work activities, but there's a twist, they're doing the ride on some of our older donated bikes. These bikes are some of our most difficult bikes to sell, yet they're great bikes. They were once their rider's pride and joy. Their training is already underway and as we understand it, them pesky 1970's gears and brakes are causing some frustration.
Please support TO by donating to their challenge and/or maybe calling into the shop to try out one of these great bikes, maybe next year you can ride the Wooler Wheel Classic on an old bike too?
