Interesting task this morning, I was asked to talk to the Durham Diocese Mothers Union about the work of our work for seafarers at South Shields
Particularly the great amount of knitted scarves hats et al which they knitted and donated over the past year . We then distributed them to seafarers on the Tyne and throughout the UK and Europe .

Visit to superbulker Astra Centaurus arrived last night. All Phillipino crew we explained our services to the Chief Officer and handed over sack of woolly hats neck warmers and scarves.

Another massive collection of parcels today and amongst them our first knitted santas this year.

Visit to new arrival Kambos gave them our contact details and when we were open.
20 crew all Philipino. Gave them gift of sack of woollies. At first nonplussed then thankful.

Returned four crew to Imavere who had walked off earlier this morning. Had a game of snooker and then I returned them to their ship.
