Launching our new bimonthly community forum- a chance for anyone who is interested in/involved in and cares about what we do to contribute to how we run. We’ll be running two sessions- one in the afternoon, one in the evening- every other month, drop-in, all welcome.

The SNCK family will be celebrating Eid this week at the caff! Come through either Thursday or Friday (depending on the moon sighting) for lunch, sweet treats and gifts for children during our normal opening hours.

On Saturday 18th April we will be taking to the streets with 50 other organisations at the National Housing Demonstration in Central London from 1pm, continuing to stand up for everyone's right to secure and affordable homes.

For too long people have been suffering under a housing sector that has become a landlord's free-for-all, weighted in the favour of landlords and at the expense of hundreds of thousands of people's stability, health and quality of life.

The long awaited Renter's Rights Bill is a hard-won step in the right direction but there is more work to be done. Wide reaching policy that controls rent and builds council homes are the only solutions to bankrupt local authorities crippled with the cost of emergency accommodation and a homelessness crisis that has no end in sight.
