✨ First swim session is FREE!
💙 Subsequent sessions are subsidised to just £5 pay-as-you-go

These sessions are designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.

Nominations for the Flourishing Culture Awards 2026 now close Monday 16 February.

We invite you to nominate individuals, groups, or organisations who have influenced you through their cultural contributions. Whether through art, music, performance, literature, heritage, sport or any other form of cultural expression, these awards embrace all aspects of community culture.

Shortlisted nominees will be invited to an awards event in Barnstaple in March, where the winners for each category will be announced and presented with their award.

PRESS RELEASE: Formal Launch of One South Molton CIC

Following a comprehensive community engagement survey conducted last year on behalf of the One South Molton Network, a clear set of local priorities has been identified, shaped directly by the voices of the wider Molton community and supported by national data, reporting, and statistics.

As a result of this work, One South Molton has now been formally established as One South
Molton CIC, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Previously operating as a collaborative network, One South Molton brings together partners, community groups, organisations, and individuals under a shared “One Community” approach, with the aim of improving wellbeing and health outcomes for local people.

By formalising the network as a Community Interest Company, One South Molton CIC is
now better positioned to plan, measure, and deliver meaningful outcomes aligned with the
community’s identified priorities. This structure enables stronger governance, accountability, and the ability to support both existing and future community-led activity.

The company was incorporated in December 2025 and is currently entering an important
phase focused on governance, structure, and systems. This foundational work will ensure
the CIC is well placed to influence positive change locally, while also supporting the valuable work already being delivered by members of the One South Molton Network.

With One South Molton CIC now formally established, the organisation is focused on
strengthening its foundations and supporting ongoing activity across the network. This
formal structure enables One South Molton CIC to seek and secure external funding, helping
to deliver projects and initiatives that provide tangible benefits for the town and the wider
community, in line with the priorities identified by local people.

As the organisation moves into this next phase, One South Molton CIC is inviting applications for Director roles across all areas. This is an opportunity for individuals who are committed to the South Molton community and the surrounding area, and who are passionate about improving local wellbeing, to help shape the future direction of the CIC.
