Glasgow Ramblers' Group is part of the Ramblers' Association Walks are arranged for most weekends with occasional mid-week walks. SC039799.

Our walking group arranges a walk programme suitable for people with different levels of experience and fitness. Each walk, graded according to the level of challenge, is led by one of our volunteer walk leaders. If you think you might enjoy walking with us, please have a look at the our website and our blog. The last section of part 3 was a lovely walk in the sunshine from Dalry through the Blair Estate Estate to Kilwinning Abbey. All enjoyed this good weather with lunch in the cloisters.
Looking forward to part 4 - Kilwinning to Troon.

Good 9-mile walk yesterday from Dumbarton to Kilpatrick through Overton Estate and Lang Crags and taking in the top of Doughnot Hill.
By some stroke of luck it was a clear and bright day.

A gentle 6 mile stroll along the Forth and Clyde Canal starting in Bishopbriggs and finishing at Maryhill Locks. We had a spectacular kingfisher flypast, a diversion into Glasgow’s oldest Wildlife Reserve at Possil Marsh with its meteorite memorial stone and roman soldier sculpture, and lunch at the Lambhill Stables.

Continuing our walk along the Whithorn Way. Fourteen walkers enjoyed the walk from Lochwinnoch to Dalry via Lochshore Park today.

Wild, wet, windy ...and surprisingly wonderful.

Our two walks this week up, and over the Largs Hills and through Gogo Glen, were a battle with the elements. Thursday's group fought through thick mist and constant rain, finishing soaked to the skin. Saturday's group fared a little better, enjoying some fine views on the way up before the wind and rain caught up with them. But, despite all that, two great days out in the hills.

A beautiful sunny day for a leisurely stroll from Ardrossan to West Kilbride. Followed by a delicious lunch. Lots of fun, chat and admiring the wedding guests fashion stlyles.

A glorious day yesterday for a wee 12 mile out and back along the start of the West Highland Way.

On a blustery wet Saturday eleven hardy souls set out from Rannoch Station to ramble across Rannoch Moor to Kingshouse. They embraced the boggy desolation of the moor. Fantastic day.
