Greater Pollok Walkabout Events Easter day and Christmas Eve themed events around Greater Pollok with partner organisations

Our first Christmas Eve event was in 2020 and going into 2021 we continued into another difficult year for many children and their families due to Covid-19 and it's consequences; families surviving on minimal income, experiencing grief, centres and clubs closed, adverse impact on education, mental health... the list goes on. That's why Threehills Community Supermarket, Greater Pollok Services and

others are working together to make Christmas and Easter a wee bit more special for Greater Pollok families. We will be collecting and distributing gifts on themed walkabouts to support children and families. Day to day lives, financial situations and mental health have been heavily impacted and children are facing worries and experiencing challenges that no child should be facing. Relying heavily on your support, we hope to create some joy for our children during these unpredictable times. Our themed walkabouts have become a bit of a tradition now in Greater Pollok and surrounding areas as we are extending and bringing lots of joy to young children who look forward to them. Help us make these events a bit more special

Members at the Hillwood Community Trust based at the Priesthill pitches donated loads of eggs to the Easter event, the Easter Bunny Team are going to be sooo busy handing them all out and getting really excited now. We appreciate all the effort people have made this year to help us achieve our goal of 1000 eggs.

Beaverbrooks in Silverburn have dropped of a donation of Easter Eggs into Tesco Silverburn. Another amazing donation of Easter eggs for the Easter event on Sunday.
Thank you Dr Zubir Ahmed for Glasgow South West and thank you Tesco for collecting all the donated Easter eggs for the event and ofcourse your annual generous donation towards our events that reach around 1000 children accross Greater Pollok, we have wonderful supporters 🐰

Celine Marshall won a compitition at jolly vip lounge and asked the owner if she could donate this on to our wonderful event coming up this Sunday starting at 10am 🐰

🐰 EASTER 2025 🐰

The Easter bunny team are getting ready for the annual Easter day walkabout to meet all you lovely people on route.
We have teamed up with Tesco Silverburn again who will have a donation trolley out for customers to hand in donated Easter Eggs for the team to hand out.
Easter bunny will be on a float this year, thanks to Wee Tait Entertainment
