Summer opening hours will come into effect at our recycling and household waste sites in April.
From Wednesday 1 April to 30 September, opening times will be 9am-5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and 9am-7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (on the days that sites are open).
Last admittance to all sites will be ten minutes before closing time.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER - CHURCH LANE, SOMERBY
Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A road closure is required on Church Lane on 13th April 2026 for 3 days (09:00hrs – 15:00hrs).
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been implemented for public safety, so MJ Quinn on behalf of BT Openreach can carry out cable and ducting installations.
A diversion route is not available for this closure. Residential access will be maintained throughout.
