Thank you to everyone who donated to our food bank collection today. This makes a huge difference to people in need. If we didn’t come to your street you can donate on line. Put Food Bank in the comments and we will pass the money on with the food. Thanks again https://www.shirleylions.co.uk/donations/makingadonation.html.

Midlands Air Ambulance were the main beneficiary of the Shirley Carnival. They have also been out to talk to us about their work. We were pleased to meet them at their headquarters last week and present them with a cheque £1,000. Their work is funded by donations with no government funding. You can find out more about their work at https://www.midlandsairambulance.com/

Thank you to everyone who came along to our b**r and c***r festival this weekend. It was good to see so many people enjoying themselves.

As soon as we have finished this event we move onto our next.

We are holding a table top sale at Lawnswood Avenue (same location as our plant sale) on Saturday in support of Elizabeth House. Details are on the attached poster.

Please come along for some good quality bargains.
