Huge congratulations to Kate Buxton, Katie Jennings, Daniel Corbett and Laura Hampson, who were honoured at Windsor Castle after achieving the King’s Scout Award – the highest award in Scouting.

Chief Scout Dwayne Fields joined families and supporters to celebrate their dedication, leadership and the positive impact they’ve made in their communities. A truly proud moment for Solihull and Scouting ⚜️

It’s a busy day for us! We have three young people at Windsor today at the day of celebration and achievement. They are supported by other members of Solihull Scout working in the background helping to run the day.

Closer to home, we have the Cole district St George’s day parade down Knowle High street. Please watch out for the road closures between 1pm and 5pm

On this St George’s Day, we want to shine a spotlight and congratulate some of our amazing young adults.

Kate Buxton, Katie Jennings, Daniel Corbett, Jaya Sandhar, Lily Mather and Laura Hampson have all achieved their King’s Scout Awards.

They have all done things like international trips, organising sessions with their sections, different badges and Gold DofE or the King’s Scout Challenges!

Daniel also found time to complete his Explorer Belt Challenge.

Katie described her experiences as helping her to “develop skills such as determination, teamwork, organisation and confidence”.

Kate, Katie and Daniel will join other King’s Scouts at Windsor this weekend to celebrate their achievements!
