Magic Star a "new to me" apple is being sold in to my local supermarket.
A nice sweet ,crisp apple that i think was designed for the retail trade.
Before i threw it in the bin i thought id have a look at the core ,pip's etc ( Yes, i do need to get out more). Noticed some of the pips/seeds have already started to germinate. its a first for me to see this happen on what appears to be a fresh apple.
It will be a long term project but i wonder what variety of apple they are going to be when they to start to produce fruit.
it will make a change from growing Acorns etc for replanting in the future.
