🤝 We were pleased to be in attendance at the launch of the Safer 6 Campaign outside Sainsbury’s Oldbury, alongside other local professionals and partner organisations.

📢 Over the next 6 weeks, agencies across Sandwell will be working together to tackle local issues, raise awareness, and promote community safety.

💬 Our stand provided a great opportunity to engage with residents, share information about available support services, and discuss ways we can all contribute to safer communities.

💜Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat. Together, we can make a positive difference across Sandwell.

We were proud to deliver the very first Peer Support Session, ‘How to Enjoy Humour’, with Cranstoun service users following a series of training sessions delivered by KPG.

This completely peer-led project focused on using humour therapy within a mutual aid setting, creating a safe and uplifting space for connection, confidence and wellbeing.

A huge thank you to Ideal For All, Cranstoun, Headway Black Country and for helping to fund and arrange the session, and for supporting service users to attend through promotion and transport assistance.

Jon Hone, Service User Lead at Cranstoun, shared:

“Ranj from Kaleidoscope has been working with our volunteer team and clients over the past few weeks to develop independent peer-led group sessions.

This was a completely peer-led project focusing on using humour therapy in a mutual aid setting.

I was very impressed with the huge turnout (max capacity), the great vibe in the room and also the collaboration between Cranstoun, Kaleidoscope, Ideal For All and Headway to support clients to attend either through promotion or transport.

Feedback from service users was amazing and all were eager to attend a further session in future if available.

Great work Ranj and well done to Pom and Tanya for their delivery 😊”

Thank you to everyone involved in making the session such a success — we’re excited to see these peer-led sessions continue to grow.

Join us in June for Mental Health Awareness sessions, Men's Groups and wellbeing tips as part of the 'You ok, mate?'project. These sessions are focused on promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. Together, we’ll explore practical tools to help start real conversations and support one another to get men talking.

Sometimes, asking “You ok, mate?” can make all the difference. 💙

Mental Health Week is coming 🤝

We’re looking forward to a week of connection, support, and activities.
Start each day with our Coffee Morning (10–11am), featuring mental health activity packs and fun quizzes to get everyone involved. Alongside this, we’ll be running a range of sessions throughout the week, so there’s always something to engage with.

Here’s a quick look at what’s planned:
✨ Monday – Understanding Anxiety & Acupuncture, with Peer Support running alongside
🚶 Tuesday – Peer Support Walking Group (weather dependent), or indoors at Cranstoun Sandwell if needed.
💬 Wednesday – A relaxed day to connect, enjoy food, and good conversation.
🧘 Thursday – Coffee Morning, Peer Support, Sound Bath & Grounded Meditation, followed by a Mental Health Forum (open to all service users)
🎯 Friday – Our usual sessions with a mental health focus, plus a sensory activity during Milestones

Whether you’d like to join an activity or simply drop in for a chat, there’s something for everyone. We hope to see you there 💛
