Reminder alert!!!! Come and join the National Literacy Trust in Black Country Tuesday 10th February at West Smethwick Enterprise's stay and play 9.30am-11am for a fun, educational event!

📢 We’re proud to be supporting this lovely Early Years event for Sandwell families!

If you have a child under 5, this free, family friendly session is for you. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some quality time together with your little one whilst helping develop their language and communication skills.

Families can look forward to:
✨ Storytime and nursery rhyme singing

📖 Free books and resources to take home

At the event we will be giving out some valuable resources such as the Sandwell Talking Tips which are great for supporting your child’s language and communication development at home or when you’re out and about.

Its time for our second nursery rhyme competition of the week!

💬 Tell us your favourite nursery rhyme or traditional song from your childhood in the comments below (and let us know if it’s your child’s favourite too), and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a special Nursery Rhyme Prize Pack!

🎉 Smethwick Library and are hosting fantastic Play, Talk, Read sessions – and you're invited to join the fun with special guest, Sandy the Bear! 🎉

These free weekly sessions are a brilliant opportunity for parents and carers to support their child’s early development through stories, songs, dancing, free play, and crafts – all in a warm and welcoming environment. No need to book – just drop in!

🕒 Session Times (starting Monday 3 & Thursday 6 November):
• Mondays: 10:30am – 11:30am
• Thursdays: 1:30pm – 2:30pm
