🌞 SCOUTS' Solar Key Rings 🌳

Get ready to be sun-struck by the incredible creations crafted by our SCOUTS - Taking log-crafting to a whole new level, they've created some awesome coasters and keyrings!

With a sunny disposition and a magnifying glass in hand these talented Scouts left their mark on the wood, etching designs that make every piece a ray of personalized brilliance.

This hands-on adventure doesn't just light up their creative sparks; it's also a tree-mendous way to sharpen problem-solving skills and forge a deeper bond with nature.

Hats off to our bright Scouts for their shining achievement! Your talent shines as bright as the sun itself! ☀️🌳✨

An amazing camp

SCS SUMMER CAMP 2015
-----------------------------------------

The long awaited SCS Summer Camp took place this weekend gone - and with over 50 Leader, Cubs and Beavers attending, it proved to be one of our most enjoyable, beneficial and simply E-P-I-C Camps yet!

The LEADERS had arranged an amazing variety of fun and unique Activities for the Young Children. We wanted to really challenge them and push them out of their comfort zones.

Activities ranged from: Learning to Start and Maintain Fire; Cooking and Cleaning their own Food; Trecking through Forests and unknown territory; Self-Reflective talks and Circle Times; and Competitive Lodge Games such as our marquee Flour Blaster Capture the Flag Game!

Overall both Leaders and Kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have learnt an awful lot - all of whom we're certain are already eager to come back for more!

SUMMER CAMP PREP

In preparation for our annual summer camp, the SCOUTS practised making one of the their meals using resources that will be available at camp.

The challenge was to create pizza perfection without an oven... They followed a secret recipe that is knead-to-know only!

Their creations were so delicious, they truly captured a pizza-our-hearts!

They are definitely ready to take this meal to camp and tweak it with toppings of their choice.

Well done SCOUTS!

⚜️🍲 BIG IFTHAR 2022 🥞⚜️

10th Slough enjoyed its first whole-community event since the lockdown - and alhamdulilah it made up for the wait! The buzzing programme was created and run by the scouts children, and included: Quran Recitals, Hadith Gems, VIP Speakers, and a fiercely-competed Family Quiz! Not forgetting the FOOD also - with over 100 dishes to be enjoyed.

We feel blessed to have such a special community around us - the Scouts, Families, Leaders and well-wishers. We cherish all your support ❤🥳
