George Green Social Library and Garden Community Project run by The Wexham Parish Council & The Wexham Parish Residents Association. First opened in April 2012.

Meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month 2-3.30pm at The Harvey Memorial Hall, George Green
Bring a book, Swap a book, Read a book, Grab a magazine, Have a tea or coffee, Stay a minute,
Stay an hour, Bring the kids, Bring the dog
Catch up with friends

IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE LANGLEY RECYCLING CENTRE

Temporary closures planned for Langley household recycling centre!

Langley HRC will close from Wednesday 9 September 2026, with the last day for residents to use the site being Tuesday 8 September. The site is expected to reopen before Easter 2027.

Residents who normally use Langley HRC, including eligible residents from Slough, are encouraged to use Burnham HRC or Beaconsfield HRC while the site is closed. Burnham HRC will move to seven-day opening for the duration of the closure and staff from Langley will be transferred there to support increased demand.

This Sunday 14th June from 10:00am to 3pm the weather is promising to return to be a Sunny June day and therefore the prefect time to visit Black Park and to enjoy the Black Park Model Boat Club Open Day. Please come along and enjoy the boats being displayed on the lake and at the lakeside. The Have A Go boats will also be available for visitors of all ages to experience sailing one of our fleet of radio control boats.

Don't forget to vote this Wednesday on the question
‘Do you want Buckinghamshire Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Wexham to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area?

The usual Polling Station at St Mary's Church Hall, Church Lane is not available this time so please go to Harvey Memorial Hall, George Green Road, George Green, SL3 6BJ. between 7am to 10pm. Don't forget to take photo ID.
