Tris and Boycie take their Second Regular Step

What a great morning we had yesterday passing Tris and Boycie.

Tris was conducted round the Lodge by Andrew and Boycie by old friend Paul West. Matt stood in as DC and assisted throughout the ceremony with son-in-law elect Zach Godfrey operating the lights and the music by Light Blues Brother Lawrence Wood.

Mani again presented the Working Tools brilliantly with the highlight of the meeting being the most amazing explanation of the Tracing Board by Lawrence that anyone had ever seen.

We had a lively and good-humoured festive board with a huge raffle and everyone had a thoroughly good time.

Put the 13th June in your diary to see Tris and Boycie being raised at the next meeting.

What a superb double initiation we had yesterday bringing Boycie and Tris into Freemasonry.

As Daylight Clay Pigeon Shooting Club member Paul West has known Boycie for over 20 years he wanted to do the ceremony and what a job he did for us.

David Cox Proposed Boycie and Andrew Proposed his son Tris with each of them acting as JD for their Candidate.

Mani and Jag joined in by doing the Tools and Charge.

The Slough Centre made the dining room extra festive with Christmas garlands and trees with the Full Engligh Breakfast having added bubble and squeak with pigs in blankets. The day was finished off nicely with a bumper raffle.

We had a great Installation Meeting yesterday with Russ Proclaimed for a 2nd year in the Chair.

Russ gave all the members a lovely tie clip to thank them for supporting him over the past year which we all love.

We also had 2 joining members and have a double Initiation at the December meeting so things are looking great for the Lodge having almost tripled our membership since becoming The Shooters Lodge.

The Daylight Clay Pigeon Shooting Club continues to meet on Sundays if you feel like joining in.
