🚁 We told you about the public appeal to help fund a second air ambulance in last month’s YLL, and the fundraising efforts taking place around the county to help make it happen.

Well, here's something else we've been told about! ⛳️

A charity golf day is being held to raise money towards the Air Ambulance, bringing golfers together for a great day out while supporting a really important cause.

Sleaford is looking rather lively today! ☀️

🏖️ Sleaford-on-Sea has taken over the Market Place (on till 4pm today), with lots going on throughout the day: you can have a free helter skelter ride and enjoy a range of entertainment. A seaside trip without having to leave Lincolnshire!

🎶 Over on the Riverside, DJ Dave Bee is providing the soundtrack, with a collection of classic cars adding some petrolhead appeal. 🚗

🎨 And if you pop by The Hub you can check out the Open Window, newly decorated by 17-year-old Libby, bringing even more colour and vibrancy to the town.

Plenty to see, hear and do in Sleaford today! 👋 What a lovely place to live!

An exotic visitor has fluttered into town...

This is a hummingbird hawk moth, a remarkable creature that can hover in front of flowers with such speed and precision that you'd think it was a hummingbird.

They've been spotted elsewhere in the county this summer and now they've come to Sleaford. Have you seen one anywhere?

Another exciting feature to look out for in the August edition of Your Local Lincs is Heckington indie-pop band Temple Bay. 🎶
