Who's heading to the Lincolnshire Show this week? 🌾🚜

The county's biggest celebration of food, farming and the countryside returns tomorrow and Thursday, with plenty to see and do for all ages.

Highlights this year include appearances from JB Gill and Kelvin Fletcher, a thrilling Polo Chukka in the Main Ring, a Guinness World Record attempt involving a combine harvester, plus returning favourites such as the Shetland Pony Grand National, BMX stunt riders, Hawkeye Falconry, the Dog & Sheep Show and more than 500 trade stands.

The Your Local Lincs team will be at the Show on Thursday, so if you spot us, do come and say hello!

Please note that our office will be unattended that day, so there'll be nobody available to answer the phones. We'll get back to any messages as soon as we can.

Dress rehearsals are done, the lights are ready, the cast are ready... now all we need is an audience.

Less than a month to go until the Lincolnshire Show returns to the Lincolnshire Showground on 17th & 18th June, and we’re already getting excited for another visit this year! 🚜🐑☀️

There’s plenty to look forward to, including celebrity guests JB Gill from JLS and Fletcher’s Family Farm star Kelvin Fletcher, plus a Guinness World Record attempt to assemble a combine harvester header in record time! 🚜⏱️

The Main Ring will also feature everything from polo and show jumping to the Shetland Pony Grand National, alongside the RAF Falcons Display Team, motocross stunts and live music from the Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Band.

It’s always one of the biggest dates in the county calendar celebrating food, farming and the countryside and we can’t wait to soak it all in again this year!

We dropped in on Billinghay & District Community Swimming Pool in our March edition as they geared up for their 2026 season.

They wanted us to let everyone know about their upcoming Party in the Barn on June 12th, celebrating the opening of the pool and helping to raise funds to keep it running for the community.

It’s set to be a fantastic night with:
🎶 Live music from local band JFK
🎧 Disco / DJ
🐷 Hog roast baps & puddings
🎟 Mega raffle
🍴 Food and plenty of dancing!

Get your dancing shoes on and go along to support them!
