Sunday’s game at home to Ancaster Athletic, in the Ron Eaglen Challenge Cup!⚽️

Starting the league with a battle of a game and a well deserved win.🌟

A fantastic start with 2 goals in 5 minutes, making an instant impact and showing the quick passes of pre-season were well worth the effort. Keeping the lead strong, we went into half time 4-0 up.⚽️

Going into the second half we didn’t make it easy for ourselves going down to 10 men just after conceding, Matty Warrington took on the gloves to see the game out.🧤

The whole team stayed switched on, shutting down attacks and making breaks to keep the difference of being a man down to a minimum. The work rate for each other, well-timed substitutions and the switching of positions to keep the game our way really paid off. ⚽️

The last kick of game brought us a final goal to seal the win, a nice 5-1 win to start the league right.🌟

What a game to start the season!⚽️

Fantastic result for our first game in the county cup, the team really showing the hard work of pre-season paying off. Kyme are through to the next round!🎉

Clear communication and encouragement across the team, making quick passes and carrying the ball at pace.🌟

Going into half time with 2 goals, the clear focus in the second half was add to the tally while keeping a clean sheet.🧤

The momentum carried through, bringing 5 more goals and lots of chances. Substitutions came on and brought fresh energy to the game, shutting down any attacks and keeping the ball heading for the back of the net.⚽️
