Long Preston Christmas Light Switch On Raffle ✨

Apologies for the delayed post, the raffle was drawn over the Christmas period, on a Friday evening at The Maypole 📢

Many thanks to all those that turned out on a very cold & wet, miserable Sunday afternoon for the Village Light Switch on.

A huge THANK YOU, to those that made the event happen;

⚡️Daniel Taylor for all his voluntary time spent getting the electrics and lights sorted and up - the event wouldn’t happen without him.

🎄Long Preston Village Light Switch On🎄

Please note that we have had to make some changes to the event, due to disruptions from the past few storms we have had damaging the wires for the lights. We have managed to put in some temporary fixtures and the lights & tree have gone up this evening. Due to the uncertainty of the event going ahead, we haven’t been able to go ahead with everything as planned. Please see on the poster for all updates and please note NEW START TIME OF 5:45PM.

We look forward to seeing you all on Friday evening, for our village festivities🎅🏻

Due to the given weather forecast & the results from our Poll, we have made the decision to POSTPONE our event, until spring next year‼️

We hope when we do rerun the event, you will come along & support us with all your furry friends🐾🐶
