Yesterday one of our drivers asked, "why wouldn't you?" Today we're inviting you to find out for yourself 🚐

We're holding a drop-in where you can meet some of our volunteer drivers and Kevin, our Transport Coordinator.

Ask anything you like: what's involved, how much time it takes, what a typical journey looks like. There's no commitment, just a friendly chat.

Our drivers help local people get to hospital appointments, see friends and stay connected. Right now we need more of them, so if you've got a bit of time and a full driving licence, we'd love to meet you.

Can't make it on the day? No problem! Email [email protected] to apply or to book a no-obligation chat at a time that suits you.

Please share with anyone who might be interested!

"So why wouldn't you?" 💛

This is from one of our volunteer drivers, who has completed 82 journeys with SSIA so far. That's 82 trips to appointments, shops and groups that might not have happened otherwise.

He's seen a lot of the world, but he says this is one of the best things he's ever done. Could it be yours too? Keep an eye out tomorrow 👀

It's ! 🚐

Our volunteer drivers do far more than get people from A to B. Meet Andy, one of our SSIA drivers, and Charles, who travels with us. They sat down to chat about what these journeys mean to them both, and it turns out it works both ways.

Grab a cuppa and have a watch 👇

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
