Hi folks, I am looking to take on a bit of work from Lancashire County Council from next March when the weeds start to grow (missed it this year) and they have given me a bit of funding to get 2 people trained.
NPTC Level 2 Award in Safe Use of Pesticides Foundation Unit PA1;
NPTC Level 2 Award in Safe Use of Pesticides - Module PA6 Handheld Applicator;
Basically means you are qualified to spray weeds using a sprayer.
Ideal job for someone that likes or needs a bit of walking, casual role as it can only be done in dry weather in the growing season.

Hi folks, I mentioned a few weeks ago that a new Lancashire County Council initiative called "Civic Pride" was about to be created, I just wanted to announce that Cllr Ella Worthington representing Skelmersdale West is the new LCC Cabinet Member for Civic Pride.
Hopefully soon we'll get some joined up action improving the whole of Skem.

Hi folks, I have taken the plunge and registered CleanUp Skem as a CIC. Now that we are a formally incorporated it should open more doors for us, may be collaborating with Lancashire's Civic Pride launching in April.
