Our coffee morning/ socials have been set for the LAST MONDAY of each month; 10.30 am at the CSL Garden Centre. All are welcome and it’s a great opportunity to meet new ladies interested in our WI group. Please come along and give us a try.

A big thank you to all our ladies who have supported our tables at the Chapel St Leonards car boot this morning. We had a great many prizes for our tombola and once again Pauline and Jean did an excellent job at organising and running it. Our cake stall was a tremendous success with a great variety and number of cakes. Thank you to our volunteers and committee members for their commitment , making it a successful fund raiser and enjoyable experience.

on Wednesday 9 July 2025 between 2-4pm Chapel St Leonards Women’s Institute has Steve Dixey from HSP Adventures coming to speak. Steve will be presenting a slide show and giving us some insight into his walking, beach craft and photographic adventures on the Lincolnshire coast. Ladies you are very welcome to come along listen to Steve and make new friends. Hope to see you there.

We like to thank our members for their many entries in our regular competitions. This months wea judged by a membe of the Louth Search Dogs. Also thanks you to Pauline and Michelle for providing delicious cakes to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Sorry we do not have pictures of said cakes as they were consumed very quickly!

Members of Chapel WI gather around their new banner that will be displayed on the fence in front of the village hall. We hope that this will encourage more like minded ladies to join us for our regular meetings and outings such as our visit to Wren Farm for our June meeting.

Wednesday 14 May 2025 the ladies of Chapel St Leonards welcomed Brian and Helen and their dogs from Louth Search Dogs to our meeting. They gave us an informative account of their work as volunteers. Under the guidance of the Lincs police these dogs and other like them are used to seek out those individuals reported as missing. Well trained, the dogs search woods and fields until they find those missing.

Sutton on Sea WI Ladies Spring Fayre at the Meridale Centre. A small contingency from Chapel ventured over to the Fayre run by the ladies of Sutton on Sea WI. It was a lovely morning and we were made very welcome. It was a great pleasure to meet some of the ladies of Sutton and we hope that we will find more opportunities to get together. Thank you ladies the cake was delicious.

Hi to all. Here are the dates for our coffee 'meet-ups' at the CSL Garden Centre from 10.30am onwards.

Monday 2 June 2025
Monday 28 July 2025 all at the above venue.
We have not scheduled one for May as it falls on a Bank Holiday however, if you would still like to meet up, even in smaller numbers, please whatsapp on the members group and Im sure there will always be one or two who are still up for a coffee and chat. Please come along to any or all it is always great to see you and catch up on whats happening.
