📢 Exciting News: We are Evolving!
We have some important news to share regarding the future of our organization. To ensure we can continue supporting our community for years to come, we are officially changing our name from Sittingbourne and Sheppey Helping Ukraine to 'The Heather House Community Group' Charity 1205945

💙 Why the change?
As we grow, we want to ensure the longevity of the support systems we’ve built together. By becoming a broader community group, we can secure the resources needed to keep our doors open and our programs running indefinitely.

🇺🇦 To our Ukrainian Friends and Families:
We want to be very clear: This project remains incredibly dear to our hearts. While "Helping Ukraine" is no longer in our title, it remains a core pillar of what we do. This isn't a goodbye to that mission—it is a promise to sustain it. Our support for Ukrainians in Sittingbourne and Sheppey continues as a dedicated project within The Heather House, run with the same passion and commitment as always.

What stays the same?
The People: You will see the same friendly faces leading the way.

The Support: Our dedicated programs for the Ukrainian community are still active.

The Goal: Providing a safe, welcoming space for everyone who needs us.

Today marks the 4th Anniversary of the war criminal Putins invasion of Ukraine.
3.7m Ukrainians misplaced globally.
9.6 m Ukrainians misplaced inside Ukraine.
Out of 60k children that lived in Kherson, only 5k remain. No access to heating, electricity in most areas, at -20’
This is an invasion. This is one sided. This is war.
Putin needs to be held accountable.
My heart will
ALWAYS be with Ukraine and its people.
