Sidmouth Devon Air Ambulance Shop Charity shop raising funds for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust based in Sidmouth The service is funded by Devon Air Ambulance Trust which is a registered charity.

Our charity shops play an essential part in raising the funds needed to keep Devon's two Air Ambulances flying. Registered Charity No: 1077998. Our aim is "to relieve sickness and injury in and around the county of Devon through provision of an emergency Air Ambulance Service." Every year the Charity needs to raise £5.5 million to run the service. In addition, we need to raise around £1m more to b

uild capital funds in order to ensure we can replace our aircraft after ten years’ service and to meet significant maintenance and repair costs, plus ambitious plans to extend our operating hours. The Charity is wholly independent meaning that through the Devon Air Ambulance Trading Company (DAATC) it has its own Air Operating Certificate (AOC). This means effectively the service and Charity are able to make more operational decisions without the need for a third party, therefore we can liaise directly with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

We wanted to say a big thank you to Sam and the team over at the Blue Ball Inn and Bret the Quizmaster for a great night last weekend! The first quiz was a big success, we all had a great time and an amazing £350 was raised for the charity

We look forward to coming and supporting Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat and Sidmouth Hospice at Home for their quiz nights
