Showing interest to volunteer doesn't mean giving up your life. As volunteers ourselves we understand you might want a tiny role or can only offer an hour a month and that is fine.

We work with you to find out what you can offer and we never pressure you to do more than you can offer. You will not be the 'main' leader you will be a support.

Get in touch if you are wanting to help children to gain skills for life. Enquiring doesn't mean you are signing up!

Dip you toe in the water with our 4 week challenge.

Week 1: Pick a section whether it be beavers, cubs or scouts and see what we do of an evening.

Week 2: Get a little involved by helping the leader. This will be getting tables or handing out sheets of paper

Week 3: Get a little more involved. This could be standing along side the leader to be seen or get involved with keeping score of a game

Week 4: Decide if this is something you want to stick with.

If you have got this far you will have questions. Ask away without being pressured to take part.

You don't have to to commit to every week to be apart of an amazing team!

7th Sidcup scout group is looking to increase its number of volunteers. If as little as an hour a month you could be part of something amazing, helping young children to gain skills for life.

Volunteering with 7th Sidcup is not only exciting but also looks great on your CV. You don't need skills, just energy and a desire to give back to the community.
