We’re so pleased to share that this year’s Myddle Muddle raised £10,600 for our school via the PTA.

Thank you to everyone who made it what it was - whether you ran, walked, helped, donated, baked, sponsored, or simply came along to support. It really did feel like a whole community effort from start to finish.

A special thank you to our volunteers, who gave up their time to help everything run smoothly, and to the local businesses who supported us so generously.

The funds raised will go towards improving the children’s playground, along with other projects and experiences for the school.

We’re so grateful for the support - it makes a real difference.

Just a quick reminder that the Myddle Muddle is on this Sunday morning at the school!

If you’re already signed up, we’ll see you there! And if not, it’s a lovely one to come along to anyway. There’s the 5K, 10K, and colour run, plus face painting, a bouncy castle, our second-hand toy sale, the cake stall, and Pedro’s Kitchen back again after being such a hit last year.

A huge thank you to Joe and the team at Crown Decorating Centre Shrewsbury for their very generous donation of paint to support our school hall refresh 🎨

We’re really excited to get this project moving and create a brighter, more welcoming space for all the children - support like this makes such a difference. We’re so grateful!

👕 Second-hand uniform available at Parents’ Evening 👕

We’ll have a table of pre-loved school uniform out at both parents’ evenings this week.

Everything is £1-£1.50, with an honesty tin for cash payments. All proceeds go towards supporting our PTA and the school.

If you’re coming along, please feel free to have a look through and take anything you need.

If you can’t make it but are looking for uniform, just send us a message or email [email protected] and we’ll do our best to help.

We hope the school discos last night were a big hit - the hall was certainly full of music, glitter tattoos, and plenty of very impressive knee slides! 🕺

A huge thank you to all the staff, parents, carers and volunteers who helped make it happen, and to the families who generously donated refreshments and decorations, helping more of the proceeds go directly to the children.

We’re delighted to share that the discos raised an incredible £254.07 for the PTA. This fantastic total will go directly back into the school to benefit all of the children.

This year we trialled two separate sessions for different age groups, and we’d really welcome any feedback from parents and carers.

We hope the children had a wonderful time, and that the glitter has mostly washed off by now… 🫣🤣✨

Hall refresh - next stage 🎨

As we move into the painting stage of our school hall refresh, we’re doing a quick sense-check.

We’re looking to hear from anyone in our school community (or friends/family) who is qualified / certified to work at height and would be happy to help with painting.

This will help us decide next steps. All equipment can be provided.

FRIENDSHIP DISCO - THURSDAY 12TH FEBRUARY

We’re looking forward to our PTA Friendship Disco - celebrating friendship, kindness and having fun together 💙

Pandas & Tigers
🕒 3.00 - 4.00pm
- Straight after school - children will go directly from class
- Children can bring party clothes to school to change into
- Collection at 4.00pm from the playground
- Children who usually attend Little Angels will return there after the disco as normal

Rhinos & Jaguars
🕓 4.15 - 5.15pm
- Drop-off and collection via the school office front door
- Children who usually attend Little Angels can attend as normal before the disco
- Party clothes can be brought to school to change into

What’s included
- Snack included in ticket price
- Unlimited water and squash provided

Volunteers needed 💪🏻

We’re hoping to give the school hall a refresh and would love a few helping hands!

There’ll be some clearing, light prep work and painting - no experience needed. You’re very welcome to come for as little or as long as you’re able, and even an hour helps.

The first date is next Saturday, 24th January. More dates tbc hopefully! If you think you might be able to help, please come along or message the PTA for more info.
