Project evaluations are just so much more fun when there's pizza involved!

Tonight the Fringe team celebrated a fantastic weekend and talked about the project highlights, what we learned, and what we'd like to do differently next time. It's always bittersweet when a project ends, but when you're passionate about something it soon takes on a life of its own. We're really looking forward to seeing how Fringe grows, and who else will come along to join us on the journey.

As part of Shropshire Youth Fringe, we hosted a gathering of young Shropshire based creatives at . Titled 'Open Spaces', we focused on the issues facing young people in accessing art and culture, and how we might want to address these as a collective going forward. The conversation was eye-opening and inspiring, and we can't wait to develop the agenda further.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the Vibrant Shropshire: a Cultural
Compact Grant Scheme as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and
provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in
place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local

Huge thanks to Shropshire Festivals who kindly allowed us to bring our photography challenge to Shrewsbury Food Festival. We had such good fun, particularly as we got to hang out with some of our friends at Get Your Wigle On and their fantastic stage at the bandstand, and also our lovely friends at MANBand the musical! We rounded off the afternoon returning the favour with some volunteering. Partnership with other organisations is really important to us, and thanks to everyone who took part, reached out and helped us today. You can join us at Shropshire Youth Fringe on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July! Registration is in the comments. 👇
