We are constantly thinking of different ways to fundraise and one of our latest ideas is to create a calendar. I have lived in North Devon on the edge of Exmoor for 5 years and it's a beautiful part of the world. With the help of a friend who is a local amateur photographer we hope to create a calendar for next year. We will use this as a promotional exercise finding outlets that will sell it for us for the 2027 calendar. If anyone would like one get in touch. When we have our first calendar I will post some pics and prices. Thanks everyone for your continued support,

All our efforts towards a goal that womens dignity health packs being made, along with appropriate education have come to fruition.
We have been in consultation with a Nepalese NGO to design and plan the sessions, as well as fund them.
Plans were thoroughly vetted and eventually approved. Funding was then provided, dates were set, but unfortunately Nepal became a difficult place to do things. Fortunately that was very short lived and the first "Empowering with Dignity" session was delivered on the 19th September at a state school in the Kathmandu area. It was a complete success on many levels. In many ways it mirrored what we had done previously.
There will be a total of 12 sessions throughout the year, some in village settings, some in schools.
We will monitor the outcome of the first session, hopefully post some pictures as well and keep you informed with our findings .

We have had a massive injection of funds thanks to our son in law who has just completed a sponsored Iron Man event. 2.5 mile swim, 110 mile bike ride then a marathon.
IAFN were the recipient of the raised funds, so a huge thank you to Duncan and everyone who supported him so generously.
For those of you who follow us, you will be aware that 18 months ago we took 500 reusable menstrual health management packs to distribute to women and girls of Nepal.
Whilst out there we talked to people about the possibility of them being made by women for use in their own communities.
We have recently been approached by one of the Nepalese NGOs that we worked with to support a programme doing exactly this. It feels very promising and seems as though all our hard work has finally paid off.
I will keep you posted.

The funds that we have raised have enabled us to further our support for the childrens home for girls in Sarangkot.
To enrich their lives we are funding Saturday morning activities of music, dance, art and sewing as well as the purchase of a table tennis table.
We want to bring joy whilst also expanding their horizons as well as giving them some future life skills.
If any of the girls take a greater interest in one of the subjects we will fund extra lessons if felt appropriate by the directors of the home.
These Saturday morning activities have been running for a while now with great success.
