Hi all!

Ok then, Beach Dreams 2026 is literally hours away - we have food, stage, bar, flowered up decor, bands bands and more bands! At this juncture, we thought we’d mention a few wee things before the fun n’ games get underway:

1 Bar. We have a bar on site provided by the excellent Orange Beach Bars who will be selling delicious and decently-priced beverages for you to consume. You are able to bring your own drink onto the site but worth mentioning here that a percentage of proceeds from the bar take will go towards funding this festival so yes, if you could partake from the bar on occasion that would be very much appreciated.

2 YOUROCK! So on Saturday night we’ll have the welcome return of Live Band Karaoke to Beach Dreams - back in the day it was a mad mainstay of the festival and would cause much singing and general merriment. Good to have it back. Drill here is that, if you want to belt out a tune in front of a supportive and noisy crowd, drop us a line and we’ll add you to the song list. Speaking of which, here are the tunes we have for you to bellow and croon (TUNES WITH A * HAVE BEEN SNAPPED UP)

We’ll provide lyric sheets and a cracking live band - all you have to do is live the dream.

3 We’ve moved! So it may not have escaped your notice that we have moved from Beach Green to Coronation Green this year. Thought it would be an upfront and transparent move to briefly explain why. Basically in 2025 we were lucky enough to get an Arts Council grant for the event. This year we weren’t so lucky. This left us with four choices:

1 Cancel Beach Dreams
2 Charge £20 entry on the gate
3 Hope we get £12,000 from somewhere
4 Move to Coronation Green

Out of the four options, three were pretty hairy and one fitted with our values and meant that the show would go on without causing to much mayhem, risk and stress. We went for that one so yes, Coronation Green it is!

So yes, that’s how it’s looking and how we’re looking - your free community festival lives on.

So you may have noticed we’ve got a lot going on this Saturday!

♻️ It’s the opening day of the .and.found.museum Adur Art Trail exhibition in The Circular Space in Shoreham (on the for the next 3 weekends).
🔧 The Adur Repair Cafe which was going to be outside for June is moving to The Shoreham Centre instead because of the wind forecast.
✂️ In in in Brighton .scrappysisters are hosting another of their book binding workshops.
🎵 And last but definitely not least, will be in full swing on Shoreham’s Coronation Green with a music marquee featuring and an art marquee where we’ll be running a programme of drop in crafty activities for all ages.

So get yourself along to at least one of these things and we guarantee it will be good for soul!

AAAAND the marquees are up. Was hit and miss earlier as to whether would be able to put them up due to outrageous breezes but, like the legends they are, the powered through and we are ready to roll. Big up Matt and team!
