From Councillor Jeremy Gardner:
: Congratulations to everyone who made this year’s Buckingham Park family fun day a great event. Shoreham Fort were there and here’s councillors Becky Allinson, Adrienne Lowe and me with Andrew Biff Byford at their display. Biff is wearing the WW1 uniform of the 8th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment. Also pictured are Becky and Adrienne getting in some archery practice and Becky and I throwing axes. Don’t worry, opposition councillors, it was a fun day; our Labour group supports peace and community. All six of our Shoreham district and county councillors supported the event today. A special thanks, of course, for Adur East Lions Club for putting together a terrific event.

Text From Wendy Jones :
We’re in Buckingham Park today at the Adur Lions Family Fun day chatting to people about FOLDS and the Capturing Old Shoreham project.
Really lovely to meet Christine Bull, her daughter Linda and grandchildren.
Christine’s husband David Bull wrote this book ‘Shoreham Memories’ which is on display at our stall…..and they were able to share more of their memories with us today.

Our exhibition is still on at the Marlipins Thurs-Sat until end of July - come and visit us and tell us your stories and memories…

Pics with with Caron Brown, Wendy Jones, Clare Ablett and Brian Ablett at Buckingham Park.
