Yo! Highlighting the fact that the Sussex Classic Ocean Ski event is back on Lancing Green this June 10th & 11th for David Samuel (lovely dude, used to organise Paddle Around the Pier).
The event can only run in fairly light winds as its a 16k paddle around a triangular course. Consequently I would hope this shouldn't conflict with too many kiters but maybe more of pain for foilers in more marginal winds. As the water safety manager I wanted to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to you over the weekend. For those interested there is Ocean Ski demo day on the Sunday if you fancy it, plus inshore rescue boat racing.

Just enough time to rest a little and BOOM! Tomorrow the fruity conditions are back, whoop, whoop! Get some practice in for next weekend's Pier 2 Pier race with Lancing Kitesurf Club (Sat 26th Oct). Will no doubt be jokes... check it out on the LKC page.

On an aside... just coz it's been getting moody out there of late please don't assume there's no one swimming because here at Shoreham we've many watermen and water women (more women to be fair, they must be more hardcore) out there swimming most days. So, big up to the swimmers and please watch out you kiters! (Hey, be nice if 'you' could share this post as a little reminder to everyone)

Anyone after digs for out of towners could try Shoreham Beach's very own Tanglewood BnB. Can highly recommended it having had friends stay:

A large and spacious room with ensuite shower room occupying the entire loft space of our lovely, unusual home, overlooking our typical beach garden. The room has a king size bed with luxury linen and towels, large flat screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities and free high speed internet.

It's been so lush at the beach!!! Dreamy times for 'all'. This pic's from yesterday and it was similar again today so for sure it is busy at the mo. Huge hats off and big ups to those who kited today, firstly it was a great effort coz the wind was up and down but mainly because you were all so respectful and careful of other beach users. Nice one!

If you are anything but safe please book more lessons... or kite where your actions/kitemares won't effect anyone else.
