Yesterday our Gun team, along with D sub, attended the Aaron Lewis Foundation Golf day.

A (blank) round was fired to start the tournament, and a great time was had by all.

Our most grateful thanks to Barry and Helen for the very kind invitation. An honour and a privilege to be associated with this great organisation raising funds to help and support others in memory of our fallen.

Dear Branch Members

On behalf of Gordon Samerson our Branch Treasure would like to offer the opportunity to purchase the below coin.

Branch Coins

To help raise branch funds it is suggested that the branch purchase 60 Branch Coins at a cost of £17.00 + VAT & Posting and sell theses to branch members for £2.00 each with all profits going to Branch funds.

The coins which are about the size of a £1 coin will have the Branch badge on one side and the Royal Artillery badge on the reverse.

A proof design is pictured below, this project is in its infancy stage therefore any changes or suggestions that Branch Members would like to make would be welcomed.

The Branch coins could be used for Keepsakes, Gift for Grandchildren, Lucky Charms or Gifts to Visitors of The Branch.

It is hoped that at the Branch meeting in June there will be some samples available to enable Branch Members to obtain a feel of the quality of the product.

Branch members are encouraged to express their interest in this project by the way of the comments box.

Smashing day out yesterday with D Sub and the Series 2 for the Victory Day event at The Cart & Wagon shed on Shoebury Garrison.

Beautiful sunshine all day, spoke to lots of lovely people, a great use of our time.
