Northcliff Miniature Railway Welcome to Bradford MES. Miniature railways, boats, traction/stationary engines, general engineering.

Northcliff Miniature Railway is run by the members of Bradford Model Engineering Society. We run on occasional Sunday afternoons 1-4pm during the summer months, dates will be published on here and our website. We also run several special events with the Friends of Northcliffe during the year. Our members also sail their boats at Wibsey Park on Sunday mornings.

Looking for a fun day out this Saturday (22ndAugust)?

Why not come to the Calderdale Industrial Museum in Halifax to see our exhibition and the amazing history the museum has to share with you.

We have a selection of trains, boats, steam engines and models on display.

You can try your hand at steering a radio controlled boat in our pond, see a machine that was used to wrap “Quality Street” sweets, see how fence wires and carpets are made, and many more industrial machines.

As a special bonus, the museum will be operating two (2) of their large steam engines.

The museum is open between 10:00am and 4:00pm
