Volunteering week day 4. Please meet the lovely Marion, Janine and Chaz.
Marion has volunteered for 18 months and loves meeting and talking to customers. She feels like she is doing something worthwhile and she likes to get out of the house. Marion works on the till and keeps the shop floor tidy.
Janine has volunteered for 10 months she loves working with the staff, meeting customers and hearing the till ringing.
Janine works in the back tagging and steaming as well as working on the till and keeping everything tidy.
Chaz has volunteered for 3 months and she loves meeting and serving customers. Chaz works on the till and keeps everything tidy.

Volunteer Week continues - Clare was our very first volunteer , she helped set the shop up and was there on opening day.
At the moment Clare’s on holiday somewhere sunny . Hope you’re having a fab time , these are here waiting for you when you get back.

Volunteer week continues at Cats Protection Shipley Shop

Meet Anita , who has been with us for over 8 years , she looks after the books and media as well as jumping on the till when needed
Anita said she likes meeting people and getting out of the house. Doing this gives her a purpose and it feels good knowing that she is helping cats in our area.

Anyone who’s been in the shop would have seen Pauline , she’s been with us for 9 years now.
Pauline says she loves the shop and what we do for cats , she loves the people she works with and enjoys being on the till chatting and helping customers

Celebrating volunteer week with our lovely Maria, Janet and Anthony. We asked a few questions about their volunteering journey.
Janet, has volunteered for 6 years. She loves to steam and prep all those lovely garments. She loves meeting and making new friends and thinks its great for mental health.

Anthony, has volunteered for 2 months. Works on the till and steams and prepares garments. Anthony loves providing good customer service and meeting new people.

Maria, has volunteered for 5 years. Works on the till, steams and tags garments. Maria loves all the staff, meeting new people, she loves cats and having a laugh.
