CAN THE BAILDON, SHIPLEY & SALTAIRE MEN’S SHED HELP YOU?
We’re looking for community projects and woodworking commissions to help raise vital funds to keep our Men’s Shed going!
Our members are a talented bunch, and if there’s one thing we love, it’s putting our skills to good use and making something that benefits our local community.
Just look at some of the things we’ve made!
A sturdy shelter for St Peter’s Bowling Club
Community planters for Shipley in Bloom and Baildon Station
Mobile libraries for the community
A beautiful wishing well for St Peter’s Church
A chair for Wesley’s Church gardens
But that’s just a few examples of what we can do!
From planters, benches and shelters to noticeboards, garden features, bird boxes and bespoke wooden creations, if you have an idea, we’ll have a go!
Our Men’s Shed is about so much more than woodworking. It’s friendship, learning new skills, supporting each other and improving wellbeing. Every project we take on helps us continue providing a welcoming place for our members.
We need your help to keep the Shed going!
If you’re a local club, church, community group, school, business or an individual with a project in mind, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send us a message with your ideas, and we can discuss what’s possible and provide a quote.
Please SHARE this post to help spread the word. You never know who might have a project we could help with!
Let’s keep our skills working for our community!
