Our volunteers got wet and muddy on Saturday in Shipley Baptist Church garden planting donations from Christine, Nicky and Helen. At least they were well watered in! Thanks to all involved, especially the home bakers who sent delicious scones, jam and shortbread.

What's growing at the Shipley in Bloom Community allotment - basil and lavender pricked out, poppies, sunflowers and cosmos ready for planting in the town centre.

No experience or equipment necessary to join in and we enjoy refreshments and a chat afterwards with those who can stay.
