Just a reminder SHARE Shinfield does not run on any bank holidays, so there is no SHARE Shinfield on the 31st August.

We have lots of food available at SHARE Shinfield tomorrow. Please bring a bag to fill and we just ask for a £1 donation towards our running costs. We are a totally local non funded charity, so depend on donations from the community and our guests. With a huge thank you to all the local supermarkets and businesses that support us every week.

Thank you for the kind donations we have had of egg boxes, hopefully we now have enough but a few more would not go a miss 💕💕💕

Eggs Eggs Eggs but no egg boxes

SHARE Shinfield is running tomorrow Monday 24th 11:45am until 1pm.

We have an abundance of eggs but no egg boxes to distribute them. Please bring egg boxes if you want eggs and if anyone has eggboxes they could drop at school green centre before 11am that would be absolutely awesome.

SHARE Shinfield our local community food share is open tomorrow 10th August from 11:45am until 1pm, at School Green Centre.
Due to the on going heat please try not to arrive early as we don't open our doors until we have finished set up at 11:45am.

Bring a bag and we ask for a £1 donation to assist with our running costs. SHARE Shinfield is part of SHARE Wokingham a non funded charity.

Here at SHARE Shinfield we love supporting local charities and Gods Love on the Streets (GLOTS) is a fabulous lifeline for people most vulnerable and in need in our community.

It's a small locally run charity that provides ongoing food support to the homeless within Reading.

George and his team visit Reading town centre on weekday mornings to provide a breakfast parcel to those most in need, providing not only sustenance but a friendly face and an ear to listen.

Life is tough on the streets and currently Reading does not have a permanent night shelter, so for some a tent is their only consistent option and whilst GLOTS only desire is for this service not to be required, currently their support is needed more not less.

As with most small charities they are run by volunteers and depend on local support either via small financial donations or via the provision of breakfast supply items, GLOTS currently hand out between 10 and 15 breakfast parcels a day.

If you are or know of a local individual or businesses who would like to partner with them to support once a week or once a month a breakfast slot please contact [email protected] they would love to hear from you.

We at SHARE Shinfield are honoured to be supporting their Monday slot.

SHARE Shinfield is open today 3rd August, we are back in our normal room at School Green Centre, entrance to the left of the building by the flag.
We will be there 11:45am until 1pm. Bring a bag and we do ask at the door for a £1 donation towards running costs. SHARE is a non funded charity, we do not means test or ask for any financial information and we totally rely on these donations to keep going.
We provide free coffee, tea and cake, so even if you don't need food but fancy a cake, coffee, chat, change of scenery please pop in and say hello.

Another wonderful local family event running at Lower Earley Library on Monday morning at 10am until 12pm, why not make a morning of it by coming and joining us afterwards for SHARE Shinfield plus tea and cake at our cafe.

SHARE Shinfield is running on Monday 3rd August from 11.45am to 1.00pm back in our normal room at School Green Centre.
