📣 Shildon Alive has been asked to help spread the word...let’s get behind Jill Scott MBE! ⚽🚴‍♀️

We’ve been asked to help promote an incredible event happening at Bishop Auckland Football Club this Thursday, and we’d love for you to get involved and show your support!

Football legend Jill Scott MBE is taking on an amazing 388 mile running and cycling challenge from London to Sunderland over five days, raising money for Sport Relief projects that help people feel safe, supported and secure.

📍 Thursday 11th June – Bishop Auckland Football Club
Jill will complete Day 4 of her challenge here in Bishop Auckland after cycling an incredible 111 miles from Manchester.

🕢 Expected arrival: 7:30pm
🥁 Steel band performance at the finish line
⚽ Bishop Auckland Football Club

This is a fantastic opportunity for our local community (especially children and young people who love football!) to see an inspirational sporting icon and cheer her on as she reaches the end of a huge day.

If you can, please go along and show your support. Let’s give Jill a brilliant County Durham welcome and help create a really special atmosphere for an amazing cause!
