Sherburn in Bloom was delighted to help the council with today's planting outside the Spar in the new tubs and flower bed. Plants came from Fields Garden Centre. The weather was great. Plants chosen were white to support Leeds United.

A good morning spent carrying out a litterpick all round Sherburn and tidy up of the beds near Boots and the co-op.
There were 12 of us today. New volunteers are always very welcome.
Let's keep Sherburn tidy.

The team spent a happy hour and a half today helping Peter Pan charity shop by clearing the overgrown bushes and hedges behind the shop. Bags for the rubbish were provided by Cromwell Polythene. The scouts also helped with the clearance last week.

New tubs have been provided by Sherburn in Bloom for the library entrance.
The old tub at The Wheatsheaf has been replaced this morning.

Nice to walk through Eversley Park and see the wildflowers growing and blooming. Thanks to the Town Council and all the planters. Summer should see a lot more colour coming through as well.

Summer planting all round Sherburn done over the last 2 days. All the Central tubs, plus those on Hodgsons Gate, Persimmon/Redrow, around the church, the library , Cowbell Corner, Moor Lane, Croftway, and the Dianah Croston bed. The police station bed has bern added to. All should look great.

The overgrown shrubs and trees have been cut back on a stretch of Moor Lane by the Community Association. The footpath is now more usable. Cheers
