It simply wouldn’t be possible for us to offer the services we do without our incredible volunteers - we thank them all!

Rendezvous volunteers include:

📖 45 volunteer tutors of English + Maths
🧡 7 volunteers dedicated to wellbeing
💷 12 volunteers in our fundraising team
🖥️ 2 volunteers providing vital admin support

Of course we also thank our Trustees and Associate Trustees who give so much of their time, experience and expertise to our youth charity.

Enjoy popular songs of the 1920s and 30s in their trademark New Orleans style. All profits go directly towards supporting local young people's mental health, wellbeing and one-to-one tutoring in essential English and Maths.

Have you seen the interim review on young people and work, published today?

As the number of young people aged 16-24 who are NEET (not in employment, education or training) rises to a million, it's clear the services offered by the Rendezvous charity have never been more vital. At the Rendezvous we turn national statistics into success stories, helping more than 150 young people in the last academic year to improve their mental health and wellbeing, while achieving vital qualifications in English + Maths - opening up opportunities for further education, apprenticeships and work.

Young people "are caught in a perfect storm", says Alan Milburn, author of the government report on NEET, with the number of young people citing a mental health condition almost doubled to more than four in 10, according to the Youth Futures Foundation. Milburn says there is no shortage of effort from young people - "the shortage is of opportunity and of support".

Our Rendezvous Chair of Trustees, Paul Copp, very kindly opened up his garden at home in Marston Magna last Sunday to host a fundraiser for us. It was a really wonderful occasion, much appreciated by all who attended. The event raised a magnificent £1,861 which will directly help us provide one-to-one mental health support and essential English + Maths tutoring for 14-25 year olds.
