April meeting and a variety of finished and in-progress models on the table. I think everyone agreed that Dave B’s recently finished 1:24 Airfix Hawker Typhoon was the highlight, representing one of the modified car-door Typhoons sent to Egypt for evaluation in 1942.

Some of the models on the table at our March meeting. These are builds from our ‘Secret Santa’ competition, where members received a random kit. Often some older kits and subjects that are outside if our normal builds. Good fun 😁

Next meeting is Wednesday 1st April, usual time and place.

We will be exhibiting as a club at the South West Model Show at the Tank Museum on February 7th & 8th. A great event and our first time there as a club display. Not many shows where you get to be displayed next to real historic armour!

Traders, exhibitors and modelling demonstrations alongside the real thing. Models of all kinds will be available to see, make and purchase.
