Chakwal Welfare Society, Sheffield, South Yaorkshire, UK Chakwal Welfare Socitety was founded in 1990 by Chakwali elders who were originally resident of Chakwal District of Punjab, Pakistan, living in sheffield.

Aims & Objectives:

1. To provide moral and financial support to the deceased member and his wife and his children under the age of 18
2.To make all necessary arrangements and to pay funeral expenses to cover the cost of a basic grave ( currently £1400), or to pay cash benefit to the next of kin equivalent to the cost of a basic grave currently £1400. Membership Rules & Regulations:
1. Any person

from District Chakwal of Pakistan living in South Yorkshire of the UK has the right to become a member of the society. Any other Pakistani can apply for membership which should be approved by a simple majority of those members present and voting at any general meeting of the society.
2. to become a registerd member a fee of £50 (fifty pounds) shall be paid and then annual contributionof £40 ( forty pounds) shall have to be paid.
3. Any child of the registered member shall be eligible to become a member as soon as he is married or he is 18 years of age.
