Lomas Hall is a community facility nestled in the heart of Stannington, situated next door the the beautiful Stannington Christ Church, only 6 miles out of Sheffield. Opened in 1955 and presented to the village of Stannington in trust by Miss Flora Lomas. Today the hall is run as a charitable organisation and is managed by a voluntary committee made up of local people. Recently refurbished in 2013

, it is a fantastic multifunctional building available for hire; we have two main rooms - the Main Hall with a stage and balcony area which can accommodate up to 300 people seated and adjacent to the Main Hall is the smaller Knowle Room with a capacity of 60 people the two rooms have easy access to each other through folding doors, the Knowle Room can be hired separately or with the Main Hall. We have a kitchen with commercial facilities, a fully equipped/staffed bar, and an adequate car park making our hall perfect for meetings, wedding receptions, dinners, special celebration parties or community activities. Lomas Hall has a multitude of uses which make it an ideal venue for any event which you may have in mind.

We’re so proud to share the transformation of Lomas Hall!

After lots of hard work, time and effort, we’ve given the hall a much-needed makeover to bring it up to date and create a space that we can all be proud of. ❤️

The improvements have given Lomas Hall a fresh new look, making it a more welcoming and enjoyable place for everyone to use.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen.

We’re absolutely delighted with the results and can’t wait for everyone to enjoy the newly transformed Lomas Hall! ✨
