Hello everyone, we hope you have enjoyed the summer and now basking in the lovely autumnal sunshine (today at least!).

It was 40 years ago when Gleadless Valley Wildlife Group (later Trust) was formed. To celebrate our work in the valley we would like to invite you to a celebration event to highlight the conservation projects, walks and talks carried out by the Trust. We would also like to use the opportunity to say thank you to folks like yourselves who have supported our efforts past and present.

Professor Ian Rotherham will open the proceedings followed by an illustrated presentation by members of the Trust.

We hope that you can join us to exchange, maybe memories and future ideas, about the beautiful green spaces of the valley.

The free event will be held at Lees Hall golf club on October 22nd 7.00pm-8.30pm.
Tea and cake provided!

Come along to explore the lovely summer meadows of the Gleadless Valley. The Trust, together with with the Council, is caring for the meadows to improve their biodiversity for plants, butterflies and other wildlife.
