For the first time Brincliffe House is going to become one of the venues for the Open Up Sheffield Artists' Studio event. It's going to be held here on May 2nd, 3rd and 4th. It would be great if you could come along and support the event - and of course there will be some great craft works to purchase if any takes your fancy.

Hello all our Facebook Friends. Any ideas? We have two delightful cockerels. We have raised them from fertile eggs that hatched in July 2025. They have learnt to crow and this isn't really suitable for our urban situation. We need to know that they will be going to a really good home with high welfare values - not end up as a mid day meal somewhere. Anyone with space for these two lovely boys?

Nether Edge Festival is well underway now. Tomorrow, Wednesday 17th September between 1.00 pm and 6.00 pm there’s going to be a CRAFT MARKET at On the Brink. Come along to 90, Osborne Road, S11 9BB to have a look (and purchase if you fancy) some of the work produced by local craft workers. There will be ceramics, stained glass and textile work - all at very reasonable prices. Several of the craft workers are donating their proceeds to charity.
