Start something new in 2026 with Walkley Community Choir! 🎶

We’re a fun, informal choir open to all abilities, genders and ages (school age and up - we currently have three generations from one family singing with us!). No experience needed! Our rehearsals are relaxed and fun and we sing a variety of songs, including musicals, pop, folk and more.

Our first rehearsal is on Tuesday 13th January, 6:30-7:30 pm, at St Mary's Church Hall, Howard Road, Walkley. Just turn up or you can message us if you have any questions.

Your first session is free, then just £3 for adults (kids are free with an adult). Anyone from Walkley and the surrounding areas are welcome. It's a great time to join us as we start a new repertoire! We look forward to seeing you on the 13th!

What a wonderful evening we had last night at our Christmas concert. Thank you to all of you who came and supported us! We're back in the New Year with a new repertoire and new members are always welcome! Happy Christmas from us all at Walkley Community Choir!

For those in Sheffield who may be in town next Thurs 4th Dec, our choir will be singing at this event outside the Lyceum Theatre at 4:30. It will be a lovely festive event and there's a big sing-along at the end with all the choirs so please do come and join us!

We had a great first week back with 40 people, old and new, joining us. For those who couldn't make Walkley Community Choir's first meeting back last Tues, you're still very welcome to join us next Tues 23rd Sept, 6:30-7:30 at St Mary's church hall. All genders, abilities and ages are welcome, from primary school age and above from Walkey and the surrounding area. No previous experience of singing is needed! Just come along and try us out! Walkley Community Choir starts back TONIGHT, 6:30-7:30 at St Mary's Church on South Road and will meet every Tues during the term until Christmas. If you've always wanted to join us or are wanting to get involved in something fun and new or just want to meet some lovely people from the community, then please do come and join us! Anyone from Walkley and the surrounding areas, from primary age and above, of any gender and ability are very welcome! There is no audition and no previous experience of singing is required. A bit delayed in posting but what a great summer we've had. A performance at the Food Festival in Sheffield city centre and our summer concert in St Mary's church!

Walkley Community Choir starts back tonight for a new year and a new repertoire of songs! We meet at St Mary's Church hall, 6:30-7:30 every Tues during term time. If you're from Walkley or the surrounding areas and you fancy trying something new for 2025 please do come along and join us (with no obligation to stay if you don't feel it's for you). All genders and ages welcome from primary school age above. No audition or previous singing experience needed, just turn up! It's a fantastic group of people to spend time with, the rehearsal sessions are a lot of fun and it's a great way to switch off after a long day at work!
